Have used this hotel before and will probably use it again. Good value for money, very helpful staff. Central location with good facilities. Seems to improve every year.

Nice hotel but no air con is a deal breaker!
Location is very central, across from the beach and the train station is closeby. Nice big pool area with plenty of loungers. Rooms and common areas are clean, Internet good. Room was huge and had several USB outlets. Had a sea + mountain view which was stunning. Friendly and helpful staff.
1) No air conditioning available during my stay in early May. I was on the top floor and found the room way too hot (thermostat was showing 27 degrees celcius most nights). Reception told me there was nothing they could do as its one central system for the whole building and they have no control over when the air con gets switched on for the season. I was given a fan, which was appreciated, but this didn't help at all. Keeping the balcony door open also didnt help much plus it was too noisey. Very disappointing set-up for such a large hotel. 2) Lifts are tiny and there's not enough of them, usually very long wait times. As I was on 10th floor this wasn't ideal! 3) Can be a noisy hotel at night both inside and out on the street due to the location.
